Once a neon wasteland I n the desert, Las Vegas now holds a good number of outrageous architecture in the World. Of course, most of the architecture is over or around grand casinos, but nevertheless are more outrageous and flamboyant than other major casinos in the world. The Luxor hotel, for instance, has perhaps the second largest atrium in the world (and the biggest in North America). Add the half-scaled Eiffel tower, the Venetian hotel or the Excalibur, and you get a mix of European culture all in one strip. These buildings are unique in form and must be appreciated as such, not to mention their size and cost, also without a competition.
So when you plan your next trip to Las Vegas, between placing a bet at the roulette table or going to play casino Blackjack, be sure not to miss any of the hotels on and off the strip. The hotels are amazing not only by looking at them from the outside but also from the inside, so take advantage of the air-conditioned weather inside to escape the hot desert weather outside, and have a drink at one of the many New-York New-York bars and Cafes.
